TORY BURCH - FALL/WINTER 2025 COLLECTION

"Sportswear reimagined—offering a fresh perspective on classic style. A simple cardigan with sleeve slits, jersey-knit trousers, a sweater with embroidery techniques that mimic tweed. Garments designed and refined over time, becoming irreplaceable pieces: the perfect blazer, the beloved dress, the vintage hoodie—all reflecting a woman with a uniquely classic style."

—Tory Burch

Silhouettes:

Sportswear is reinvented, sometimes boldly, to create a distinctive contrast—like a dress shirt typically worn by accountants, reinterpreted with dramatically flared cuffs. Cardigans with sleeve details ranging from slits and twists to embroidered shoulder techniques. Shirt dresses featuring spiral patterns elevate everyday essentials

Materials:

Luxurious materials are used in unexpected ways. Cut-out dresses crafted from corduroy. A fleece top with a half-zip detail in wool, adorned with safety pins. Trompe l’oeil knit dresses. Wide-leg trousers and sportswear made from premium Japanese jersey fabric. Many textiles are designed to appear as if they’ve been lovingly worn over time—such as alpaca wool, slightly frayed tweed, crushed velvet, and metallic-threaded fabrics.

Handbags:

Each handbag embodies softness, from the Pierced and Balloon bags—crafted from leather repurposed from shoe production—to the Eleanor, a signature of the brand, reimagined with a softer silhouette. The Romy bucket bag, a best-seller, is introduced in rich brown suede (cognac) and crocodile-embossed faux leather

Footwear:

Details like sculptural heels, zippers, unique stitching techniques, and signature inner linings define the collection. The Twisted Pump from Spring/Summer 2025 returns with a T-strap variation and sandal iteration. The collection also debuts a new riding boot, as well as monk-strap shoes with elongated, pointed toes.

Jewelry & Accessories:

This collection embraces understated yet luxurious elements inspired by the 1970s—long chain necklaces that graze the shoulders, cuff bracelets reminiscent of watchbands, golden sunglasses, and dainty earrings shaped like animals such as octopuses, bulls, and other creatures seen in previous seasons. Oversized brooches embellish sweaters and coats, while crystal floral brooches appear on sandals.

Fashion Show:

A special thank you to the Museum of Modern Art for hosting this collection’s presentation. Music was curated by Wladimir Schall, featuring:

  • "Haha" by Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul
  • "Magic Carillon" by Rose
  • "Hot on the Heels of Love" by Throbbing Gristle
  • "Now I Need You" by Donna Summer
